CCS Construction Staffing is actively hiring Journeyman HVAC Sheet Metal Mechanics in Sylacauga, Alabama. This is an immediate opportunity for qualified professionals seeking steady work. Candidates will be supporting a renovation project at Coosa Valley Medical Center’s 3rd Floor West Wing, primarily involved in assembling and hanging ductwork, installing taps with manual dampers, smoke dampers, grilles, and registers. Work hours are from 7:00 am to 3:30 pm, with an expected duration of 2 to 3 weeks.
The ideal candidate will have experience interpreting blueprints, installing square and spiral duct, and possess advanced HVAC sheet metal skills.

5 8’s, 7 a.m. start
ASAPSCOPE OF WORK
- Assemble and hang ductwork in designated areas
- Interpret blueprints to ensure accurate installation
- Install taps with manual dampers, smoke dampers, grilles, and registers
- Collaborate with team to ensure project deadlines are met
- Follow site safety procedures and use required PPE
- Communicate effectively with project supervisor and team members
- Minimum of 5 years of experience required
- Must complete ladder and fall protection safety (CCS will provide)
- Ability to interpret blueprints accurately
- Experience installing square and spiral ductwork
- Reliable and able to work the required schedule
