Express Lane Service Technician

• Technician will cater to the specific needs of each repair order efficiently and accurately. This must be done within both dealership and factory requirements.
• The ideal technician candidate must be able to diagnose malfunctions, as well as perform the necessary repairs (Technician will perform vehicle repairs within their current capability/skill level).
• Perform an in-depth examination of each vehicle under their supervision
• Clearly document and record work that is performed on the repair order
• Ability to spot and recommend additional repairs for vehicle safety and dependability
• Effectively communicate with the designated advisor or service manager
• Road test vehicles when required or refer to service manager.
• Ability to perform any additional related duties as required and assigned by service manager.
• Perform proper tool and equipment usage and maintenance
• Automotive Technician Qualifications or Requirements
• Minimum of 2 years of experience as an Automotive Technician / Mechanic
• Andy Shaw Ford is looking to hire an Automotive Express Service Technician. Technicians inspect, maintain and repair vehicles, and complete oil changes. Technicians use diagnostic tools to identify the source of problems and then make adjustments or repairs.
  
  Qualifications:
• Prior Express Service experience preferred
• Must be at least 18 years of age or older
• Legally eligible to work in the United States
• Valid driver's license
• Successfully pass drug screen, background and motor vehicle records check
