Role Description

This is a full-time, on-site role for a School Psychologist located in Clyde, NC. The School Psychologist will provide psychological services to support the academic, social, and emotional well‑being of students. Responsibilities include conducting psychological assessments, developing intervention strategies, offering counseling services, collaborating with educators and families, and assisting with individualized education plans (IEPs). The role involves working closely with students, teachers, and other stakeholders to create a safe and supportive learning environment.

Qualifications
  • Proficiency in Psychology and Psychological Assessment to evaluate and support student needs
  • Strong skills in Counseling and Mental Health to provide guidance and support to students
  • Knowledge of Medicine as it relates to developmental and psychological aspects
  • Experience working with children and adolescents in educational settings
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
  • Ability to collaborate effectively with educators, families, and support staff
  • Master’s degree or higher in School Psychology, Psychology, or a related field
  • State licensure or certification as a School Psychologist in North Carolina
