School Psychology Intern
TERM OF EMPLOYMENT:
Exempt;
Part Time; 29.5 hours per week; School Year Only
QUALIFICATIONS:
Two years of full-time study that includes 60 graduate semester hours from an accredited University in the area of school psychology.
DUTIES:
Under the direction of the Student Support Services Director and supervision of a School Psychologist the intern will provide direct services for assigned schools; assist in the intervention process as a member of the Multi-Tiered System of Support Team; perform individual psychological observations, evaluations, and assessments of referred students; explain the results of these evaluations to parents, teachers, and students, when appropriate;
provide consultation to educational staff regarding behavior and academic interventions; and perform other related work as required.
