TERM OF EMPLOYMENT:
Exempt Position; 10 months;
Full time

SALARY:
Salary based upon the NC Teacher Salary Schedule based on license and experience.

QUALIFICATIONS:

Educational bachelor's degree Required; master's degree in special education or psychology and two years of experience in educational testing preferred; or an undergraduate degree in special education or psychology and three years of experience in educational testing; or an equivalent combination of education and experience.

DUTIES:
Administer both standardized and norm-referenced assessments to help determine student's initial and continuing eligibility for special education services; evaluate, collect, analyze, and interpret program evaluation data; assess students' academic abilities using a variety of instruments and techniques; collect and organize assessment data from student's cumulative record, classroom teacher(s), and parents; conduct appropriate classroom observations and personal interviews as appropriate; practice in ways that meet all appropriate ethical, professional, and legal standards;

apply federal, state, and local policies and regulations in the delivery of school psychological services; maintain confidentiality of student records and information; other duties assigned by Director of Student Support Services.
