Intervention Specialist
TERM OF EMPLOYMENT:
Exempt Position; 10 Month Position; 20 hours weekly; school year only, with possibility of extension
Salary:
Salary placement will be determined by the NC Salary Schedule based on license and experience.
QUALIFICATIONS:
NC Educator License in Elementary Education required.
DUTIES:
Provide engaging, research-based instruction; use data-driven problem solving to maximize growth for students; complete progress monitoring with students; work with students in K-4 to teach phonics skills; collaborate with instructional coaches to provide interventions to identified students; analyze student data; interpret and share data with appropriate parties; actively participate in professional development aligned to your role; participate in school-based professional learning community (PLC) team meetings as needed;
and other duties that may be assigned by the principal and/or superintendent.
