Registered Nurse (RN) - Med/Surg
Schedule:
12-hour shifts, PRN - As Needed
- Accurately perform patient assessments and identify patient needs
- Identify and initiate appropriate nursing interventions
- Provide care appropriate to conditions and age of the patient
- Perform timely and appropriate documentation relating to medical necessity in the medical record
- Responsible for completion and revision of the Interdisciplinary Care Plan for each patient
- Perform timely and accurate QI assessments

- Current North Carolina or compact state Registered Nurse license
- Associate’s degree from an accredited nursing school
- American Heart Association (AHA) Basic Life Support certification required within 30 days of hire
- AHA ACLS and PALS certifications required within six months of hire
- One year of experience preferred
- Requires critical thinking skills, decisive judgment and the ability to work with minimal supervision; ability to work in a stressful environment and take appropriate action
