$20,000 Sign‑On Bonus for Night Shift with a 2-year commitment

Schedule:

3x12s, Night Shift (7pm‑7am). Holidays and Weekends Required.

Team Overview

Join our team in a 9‑bed Intensive Care Unit where you will provide compassionate care to patients alongside physicians, advanced practitioners, registered nurses and certified nursing assistants. Our unit operates on a 2:1 ratio with two hospitalists, a pulmonologist and telehealth intensivists for immediate support and manages a diverse range of diagnoses including respiratory failure, cardio‑pulmonary disease, sepsis, and diabetic keto acidosis (DKA).

Responsibilities include comprehensive patient assessments, administering specialized treatments, monitoring critical conditions, and ensuring optimal patient outcomes. This position provides an opportunity to work in a dynamic environment where teamwork, critical thinking, and compassionate care are paramount.

Responsibilities
  • Accurately perform patient assessments and identify patient needs.
  • Identify and initiate appropriate nursing interventions.
  • Provide care appropriate to condition and age of patient.
  • Perform timely and appropriate documentation relating to medical necessity in the medical record.
  • Complete and revise the Interdisciplinary Care Plan for each patient.
  • Perform timely and accurate QI assessments.

Qualifications

Applicants must have a current North Carolina or compact‑state Registered Nurse license and an associate's degree from an accredited nursing school.

  • AHA Basic Life Support certification required within 30 days of hire.
  • AHA ACLS and PALS certifications required within six months of hire.
  • One year of experience preferred.
  • Critical thinking skills, decisive judgment and ability to work with minimal supervision.
  • Ability to work in a stressful environment and take appropriate action.
