Position: Registered Nurse (RN) ICU

Registered Nurse (RN) – ICU – $20,000 Sign-On Bonus for Night Shift with a 2-year commitment.

Schedule:

3x12s, Night Shift (7p-7a). Holidays and Weekends Required.

Responsibilities
  • Accurately perform patient assessments and identify patient needs.
  • Identify and initiate appropriate nursing interventions.
  • Provide care appropriate to the condition and age of the patient.
  • Perform timely and appropriate documentation related to medical necessity in the medical record.
  • Responsibly complete and revise the Interdisciplinary Care Plan for each patient.
  • Perform timely and accurate quality-improvement assessments.
  • Administer specialized treatments, monitor critical conditions, and ensure optimal patient outcomes.
Qualifications
  • Current North Carolina or compact state Registered Nurse license.
  • Associate’s degree from an accredited nursing school.
  • AHA Basic Life Support certification within 30 days of hire.
  • AHA ACLS and PALS certifications within six months of hire.
  • Preferred:
    One year of experience in an ICU or critical care setting.
  • Critical-thinking skills, decisive judgment, and ability to work with minimal supervision.
  • Ability to work effectively in a stressful environment and take appropriate action.
