Registered Telemetry Unit Nurse | Sylva, North Carolina

This contract role calls for a compassionate Registered Nurse with experience in caring for geriatric and inpatient rehabilitation (swing bed) patients, ideally with advanced wound care skills. Schedule/Hours:

• Variable shifts
• Three 12-hour shifts per week

Required Qualifications & Experience:

• Active RN license with previous geriatric or inpatient rehabilitation (swing bed) care experience
• Current BLS certification; ACLS and CPI preferred
• Proficient in wound care for acute and minor procedures
• Familiarity with Cerner documentation system a plus
• Professionalism and commitment to concierge-level patient experience
• Ability to work independently; unit without HUC, often without support tech or extra RN

Responsibilities:

• Deliver patient-centered nursing care to acute and swing bed populations
• Manage patient ratios of 6-7:1 to provide individualized assessment and intervention
• Document accurately using Cerner and ensure compliance with hospital protocols
• Respond to wound care needs and participate in ongoing staff collaboration
• Provide a welcoming, concierge-level experience for an affluent patient base
