Registered Nurse (RN) – Med/Surg,
Schedule:
12-hour shifts, PRN – As Needed.
Join our 28-bed Medical Surgical Unit where you will provide compassionate care to patients alongside a dedicated team of Physicians, Advanced Practitioners, Registered Nurses and Certified Nursing Assistants. With a 6:1 nurse-to-patient ratio, you will assess patient needs, administer treatments and ensure patient comfort and safety.
Responsibilities- Accurately perform patient assessments and identify patient needs.
- Identify and initiate appropriate nursing interventions.
- Provide care appropriate to the condition and age of the patient.
- Execute timely and appropriate documentation related to medical necessity in the medical record.
- Complete and revise the Interdisciplinary Care Plan for each patient.
- Conduct timely and accurate QI assessments.

- Current North Carolina or compact state Registered Nurse license.
- Associate’s degree from an accredited nursing school.
- AHA Basic Life Support certification required within 30 days of hire.
- AHA ACLS and PALS certifications required within six months of hire.
- Preferable one year of experience.
- Critical thinking skills, decisive judgment, ability to work with minimal supervision, and ability to work effectively in a stressful environment.
