Schedule

8‑hour shifts, PRN – As Needed

Team Overview

Join our dedicated Imaging team at Harris Regional, an 86‑bed facility that offers a full range of services including general surgery, women's care, intensive care, and emergency services. Our team works in a filmless environment with a picture archiving communication system (PACS) and collaborates closely with all providers and caregivers to ensure optimal patient outcomes.

Responsibilities
  • Review patient history and physician orders; educate patients about procedures, equipment, and exams to ensure understanding and cooperation.
  • When ordered, prepare and administer contrast media and/or medications within scope of practice; monitor patient condition continuously and report or respond to changes in status as appropriate.
  • Prepare equipment and supplies; select appropriate exposure factors and imaging parameters; implement safety standards and perform quality control procedures; troubleshoot, resolve, and report equipment malfunctions.
  • Position patient and perform imaging procedures; analyze results and identify issues with image quality; take appropriate actions to resolve issues, including repositioning patient and repeating procedures.
  • Enter, transmit, and report scan results.

Qualifications
  • Associate’s degree; echo certified or registry eligible within one year of employment or transferable into the position.
  • Basic Life Support certification required within 30 days of hire.
  • ACLS and PALS certifications required within six months of hire.
  • One year of experience preferred.
  • ASLS certification preferred.
