As a Med/Surg CNA, you will support a diverse patient population on our 27‑bed medical‑surgical unit, working closely with RNs and other CNAs to provide compassionate, patient‑centered care. With a 1:6 nurse‑to‑patient ratio and a 1:12 CNA‑to‑patient ratio, you will play a vital role in comprehensive patient assessment, care planning, treatment administration, and promoting patient comfort and safety.
Responsibilities- Perform basic patient care activities delegated and supervised by an RN, including monitoring vital signs, taking blood glucose measurements, and recording intake and output.
- Assist patients with personal care and activities of daily living such as bathing, grooming, eating, and ambulation.
- Report abnormal findings or changes in physical, mental, and emotional conditions to nursing staff.
- Help keep patient rooms and common areas stocked, clean, and orderly.

- Certified Nursing Assistant (CNA) with the North Carolina Division of Facility Services.
- High school diploma or equivalent (required). Additional preferred education is acceptable.
- Basic Life Support (BLS) certification.
- Critical thinking skills, decisive judgment, and the ability to work with minimal supervision in a stressful environment.
- No substantiated findings of abuse, neglect, or misappropriation in a facility providing nursing care.
