Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN) – Women's Clinic
Job Type: Full Time | Days. Sign‑On Bonus: $10,000 for Day Shift with a 2‑year commitment for eligible candidates.
Schedule:
Day shift (8 a.m. – 5 p.m.), weekdays. Closed weekends and major holidays.
Join a team of healthcare professionals in an office that provides comprehensive care services to patients of all ages, including routine checkups, illness management, preventative care, and minor procedures. Responsibilities- Assist providers with preparation and documentation of the patient's visit, including obtaining vitals, medical history, and other pertinent information.
- Prepare exam rooms for patients.
- Assist providers with procedures as directed.
- Assist with collection of lab samples.
- Give injections, administer medications, and provide wound care as ordered by the provider.
- Document all care and education in the medical record.
- Current North Carolina or compact state Licensed Practical Nurse license.
- Associate's degree from an accredited nursing school.
- AHA Basic Life Support certification within 30 days of hire.
- AHA ACLS and PALS certifications within six months of hire.
- One year of experience preferred.
- Critical‑thinking skills, decisive judgment, and ability to work with minimal supervision.
- Ability to work in a stressful environment and take appropriate action.
