Schedule: 3x12, Nights (7p-7a), Rotating Weekends

• Performs basic patient care activities as delegated and supervised by an RN, including monitoring vital signs, possibly taking blood glucose measurements, and recording intake and output.
• Assists patients with personal care and activities of daily living, including bathing, grooming, eating, and ambulation.
• Reports abnormal findings or changes in physical, mental, or emotional conditions to nursing staff.
• Maintains patient rooms and common areas in a clean, stocked, and orderly condition.

• Current listing as a Certified Nursing Assistant (CNA) with the State of North Carolina Division of Facility Services. High school diploma or equivalent preferred.
• Certifications:
  
  American Heart Association Basic Life Support (BLS).
• Required Skills:
  
  Critical thinking, decisive judgment, ability to work with minimal supervision; capable of working in a stressful environment and taking appropriate action.
• Licenses:
  Valid CNA listing with the State of North Carolina Division of Facility Services with no substantiated findings of abuse, neglect, or misappropriation of property in a facility that provides nursing care.
• Education:
  
  High school diploma or equivalent required.
