Job TitleRegistered Nurse – NICU / Special Care Nursery (7P–7A)

Schedule / Job TypeContract | 13 Weeks | Nights (7:00 PM – 7:00 AM) | 36 Hours/Week Guaranteed | Rotating Weekends | Onsite
Key Responsibilities- Provide direct patient care to neonatal patients in a Special Care Nursery / NICU setting, managing a caseload of 1:1 or 1:2 depending on acuity
- Care for neonates presenting with common diagnoses including TTN, prematurity, neonatal abstinence syndrome (NAS), and feeding difficulties
- Utilize the Paragon electronic health record (EHR) system to document patient care accurately and thoroughly
- Float to Mother Baby unit as needed to support staffing requirements
- Collaborate with an interdisciplinary team in a 4-bed unit (surge capacity to 6 beds) to deliver high-quality neonatal care
- Maintain compliance with all required certifications, including NRP and BLS
- Active Registered Nurse (RN) license
- Minimum 1–2 years of experience in a Level 3 NICU or Level 2 Special Care Nursery
- Current NRP (Neonatal Resuscitation Program) certification required
- Current BLS certification required
- Associate degree in Nursing (ADN) or higher
- Must reside at least 60 miles from the facility to be eligible for travel placement
- Experience in Mother Baby / postpartum nursing
- Experience catching babies in the delivery setting
- Flexible, team-oriented personality well-suited to a small, collaborative unit environment
