Med/Surg | RN | 13-Week Travel Contract – Sylva, NCTravel Med-Surg RN Job in Sylva, North Carolina | Medical Surgical Registered Nurse Opportunity

Travel to Sylva, NC and join a dynamic Medical-Surgical nursing team in Western North Carolina. This Med-Surg RN travel job offers the opportunity to deliver high-quality bedside care in a fast-paced acute care hospital while enjoying the scenic mountain lifestyle near the Great Smoky Mountains.

    Hours:

    36 guaranteed hours per week

  • Estimated Weekly Pay: $1,710 - $1,800
  • Weekend Rotation: Every other weekend or every third weekend
  • Call: None
  • Floating: Float based on rotation as needed
  • Unit Size: 24 beds
  • Documentation System: Paragon EHR
Job Requirements
  • Active RN license
  • Minimum 2 years of Medical/Surgical nursing experience
  • Current BLS and ACLS certifications
  • Strong Med-Surg nursing competencies and acute care experience
  • Ability to adapt to a fast-paced hospital environment
  • Comfortable providing care to adult patient populations
  • Excellent communication, teamwork, and clinical judgment skills
Responsibilities
  • Deliver safe, compassionate, evidence-based bedside nursing care on a Medical-Surgical unit
  • Monitor patient conditions and respond appropriately to changes in status
  • Administer medications and treatments according to clinical standards and care plans
  • Collaborate with physicians and interdisciplinary team members to support patient outcomes
  • Accurately document assessments, interventions, and patient progress in the EHR
  • Manage a patient assignment while maintaining quality outcomes and patient satisfaction
  • Support a positive, team-oriented environment in this North Carolina healthcare setting
