Job Summary

Ward Plumbing, Heating & Air, a fast‑growing HVAC & Plumbing contractor, is hiring a permanent HVAC or Plumbing Apprentice in Sylva, NC. The role offers $17–$19 per hour with extensive on‑the‑job training, requires no prior experience, and provides a chance to learn work on systems from major manufacturers such as Trane, Mitsubishi and Bosch.

• Learn and perform installation and maintenance of heating, ventilation, air‑conditioning, and plumbing systems.
• Diagnose and repair system malfunction in accordance with manufacturer guidelines.
• Provide professional, customer‑focused service to homeowners.
• Work daily under the supervision of experienced technicians.
• Adhere to safety procedures and company standards.

• High school diploma or equivalent preferred.
• Reliable, highly motivated, and willing to learn.
• Valid driver’s license (required).
• Commitment to a 12–18 month apprenticeship schedule.
