Practice Administrator

Dental Excellence Group is a growing company that offers patient-focused, high-quality dentistry in the Northwest Ohio area. There are more than 100 employees, including doctors, hygienists, clinical assistants, and business and marketing support teams. The Practice Administrator leads the day-to-day operations of the dental office, creating a positive and efficient environment for both patients and employees. This role ensures operational excellence in line with the Dental Excellence Group's values and growth strategy.

Performance Indicators:

  • Increase in monthly production and collections
  • Reduction in employee turnover
  • High patient retention and satisfaction scores
  • Control of overhead costs within budget
  • New patient acquisition aligned with marketing goals

Responsibilities:

Leadership & Culture

  • Foster a positive culture aligned with the Dental Excellence Group's purpose and values.
  • Hire, manage, and develop a high-performing, patient-focused team.
  • Support change initiatives and drive team buy-in on company goals.

Operational & Financial Oversight

  • Oversee day-to-day office operations, including scheduling, staffing, and resource planning.
  • Drive profitability by managing controllables (labor, supplies, maintenance).
  • Ensure effective billing, collections, insurance claim processes, and financial reporting.

Patient Experience & Growth

  • Monitor patient satisfaction and retention.
  • Support marketing campaigns and community outreach to drive new patient growth.
  • Hold the team accountable to scheduling and care protocols.

Compliance & Administration

  • Maintain compliance with regulatory and internal policies.
  • Ensure the facility, equipment, and technology are properly maintained.
  • Accurately complete all administrative and reporting tasks.
