Job Summary
Ross Education Holdings, Inc. is seeking an experienced Medical Assistant with a minimum of 3years of experience and an associate’s degree or higher to serve as Associate Campus Director (ACD) for our Sylvania, OH campus. The ACD will provide academic support, instructional leadership, and administrative oversight for the campus, ensuring compliance with clinical education standards and driving student success.
Responsibilities- Monitor student retention and placement rates for all programs and develop improvement plans as needed.
- Participate in new‑student orientation and assist with equipment setup.
- Serve as Lead Faculty for Medical Assistant Programs.
- Assist Regional Campus Director in identifying, interviewing, and onboarding faculty.
- Schedule and conduct student externship site phone conferences, follow‑up evaluations, and complete required paperwork.
- Collaborate with Career Services to ensure all externship requirements are fulfilled.
- Maintain student retention meeting the ABHES standard of 70% and Ross standard of 80% and adhere to the monthly drop budget.
- Achieve faculty evaluation and student survey results of at least 85% positive.
- Associate’s degree from an accredited institution, preferably in allied health or a related field; bachelor’s degree preferred.
- Minimum 3years of full‑time work experience in a healthcare setting, including at least 40hours in an outpatient clinic.
- Experience in educational methodology (curriculum development, faculty management, classroom instruction).
- Management experience with staff supervision, goal achievement, compliance, and budgeting.
- Strong leadership, communication, coaching, and interviewing skills.
- Ability to work at least two evenings per week.
- Ability to meet credential/licensure requirements within expected time frames.
- Physical ability to stand for extended periods, move around the building, and use computer and classroom equipment.
- Visual and auditory ability to operate technology and facilitate student participation.
- Background and reference checks required; adherence to privacy and confidentiality standards.
- Professional conduct in accordance with Ross Code of Conduct and Professional Ethics.
- Ability to remain objective and treat all students equally.
- Note:
Associate Directors promoted internally may receive an interim title and have 1½years to complete their degree; lack of timely completion may lead to disciplinary action.
