We are seeking dedicated and adaptable individuals to fill the role of Substitute Teacher at various locations. As a Substitute Teacher, you will provide temporary instructional support in the absence of regular classroom teachers, ensuring that students continue to receive quality education and maintain a positive learning environment. This position requires flexibility, strong communication skills, and a passion for fostering student growth.

Responsibilities:

• Implement lesson plans provided by the regular teacher to maintain continuity in instruction.
• Manage classroom behavior effectively to create a respectful and productive learning atmosphere.
• Assist students with their learning activities and provide individualized support as needed.
• Communicate with students, staff, and parents regarding student progress and classroom activities.
• Maintain accurate attendance records and other required documentation.
• Adapt teaching methods and materials to accommodate different learning styles and abilities.
• Uphold school policies and procedures, ensuring a safe and inclusive environment for all students.
• Participate in training and professional development opportunities as required.

Requirements:

• High school diploma or equivalent; a bachelor's degree in education or a related field is preferred.
• Valid teaching certification or substitute teaching permit, as required by state regulations.
• Previous experience working with children or in an educational setting is advantageous.
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills to interact effectively with students, staff, and parents.
• Ability to adapt quickly to new environments and handle unexpected situations with professionalism.
• Basic computer skills and familiarity with educational technology.
