Kingston Healthcare is looking for a Maintenance Manager to lead our maintenance team and ensure our facility remains safe, operational, and welcoming for residents, staff, and visitors.

- Lead & Manage: Oversee a team of maintenance professionals, ensuring timely and efficient facility repairs
. - Keep Operations Running Smoothly: Maintain HVAC, plumbing, electrical, and critical building systems to ensure functionality.
- Implement Preventative Maintenance: Develop and execute a proactive maintenance program that prioritizes safety and efficiency
. - Collaborate Across Departments: Work with leadership and department heads to address and prioritize facility maintenance needs
. - Vendor & Contractor Coordination: Establish and manage relationships with external vendors and service providers
. - Foster a Culture of Safety & Respect: Promote a positive, inclusive, and safety-first environment within the maintenance team.
- Experience & Expertise: Proven background in maintenance management
, preferably in healthcare, senior living, or a similar setting
. - Leadership
Skills:
Ability to motivate, mentor, and develop a high-performing maintenance team. - Technical Knowledge: Strong understanding of building systems, safety protocols, and industry best practices
. - Problem-Solving Abilities: A hands-on approach to troubleshooting and resolving facility issues.
- Strong Communication: Ability to effectively coordinate across departments, vendors, and staff
. - Education: Bachelor’s degree in Facilities Management, Engineering, or a related field preferred; equivalent work experience accepted.
