Nursing Instructor - Didactic w​/MSN​/BSN

RN (BSN OR MSN) NURSING INSTRUCTOR - FULL TIME - MONDAY-FRIDAY – DAYS

Sylvania, OH campus

We are hiring Registered Nurses (RN) with BSN or MSN to share their medical nursing expertise in the classroom and at clinical sites. This full‑time, daytime position is Monday‑Friday with a regular schedule and benefits.

The role includes: teaching in the classroom and at onsite clinicals; providing administrative support; guiding a diverse student population with one‑to‑one interaction; and assisting with curriculum implementation.

• Completion of an approved registered nursing education program, BSN or higher
• Two or more years in the practice of nursing as a registered nurse providing direct patient care
• Current, valid licensure as a registered nurse in Ohio
• Must be able to teach in the classroom and at onsite clinicals
• Daytime availability
• Prior teaching experience preferred
• Adhere to Ross Code of Conduct and Professional Ethics
• Position is in person at the campus and any registered clinical sites – not remote
• Sufficient ability to stand for extended periods of time, move around the building and classroom to satisfy student needs and/or facilitate student participation
• Sufficient visual and auditory ability to operate computer equipment, use telephone, read materials, use whiteboard and use classroom/office equipment
• Ability to use current technology to maintain student records
• Ability to communicate effectively in classroom and individual settings
• Knowledge of materials (subjects) that will be taught to students and ability to use and communicate Ross curriculum
• Ability to adapt quickly in a fast‑paced work environment
• Ability to achieve or maintain credential and/or licensure within expected time frames
• Demonstrates professionalism in manner, dress and conduct as a representative of Ross and a student mentor
• Ability to remain objective and treat all students equally
• Attention to detail and commitment to quality
• Clinical Coordinators need the ability to travel to visit clinical sites or other meetings
• Prior teaching or formal tutoring experience using a developed curriculum, preferred
