The Automotive Finance & Insurance Manager plays a critical role in helping customers complete vehicle purchases by securing financing, presenting protection products, and ensuring every transaction is accurate, compliant, and customer-friendly. This role partners closely with the sales team and lending institutions to structure deals, finalize contracts, improve product penetration, and support dealership profitability while delivering a professional, transparent purchase experience.

Job Duties
  • Secure financing and leasing approvals by reviewing customer credit applications and partnering with banks, credit unions, and lending sources.
  • Present finance and insurance products, service contracts, GAP coverage, and other protection options in a clear and compliant manner.
  • Prepare, review, and finalize all contracts, disclosures, and transaction paperwork accurately and on time.
  • Ensure every deal meets dealership policies and applicable federal, state, and lender compliance requirements.
  • Process loan, tag, title, and miscellaneous documents efficiently.
  • Collaborate with sales managers and sales consultants to structure deals that support customer needs and dealership objectives.
  • Maintain strong lender relationships to improve approval opportunities, funding speed, and competitive financing options.
  • Track funding status, contract completion, and product performance to help improve departmental results and customer satisfaction.
  • Support a professional customer experience by explaining financing terms, payment options, and documentation clearly.
Requirements Experience & Qualifications
  • Previous automotive finance, F&I, or dealership sales management experience preferred.
  • Strong understanding of vehicle financing, lender programs, credit applications, and aftermarket product presentation.
  • Knowledge of compliance requirements, disclosures, and documentation related to automotive retail transactions
  • Professional appearance and excellent communication, organization, and customer service skills in a fast-paced dealership environment.
  • Ability to build trust with customers, work cross-functionally with sales teams, and manage multiple deals efficiently
  • Proficiency with dealership management systems, lender portals, and standard office software preferred.
  • Must be authorized to work in the United States.
  • Able to pass a background screening, drug test, and motor vehicle record (MVR) check, as applicable.
What This Role Requires
  • Ability to remain seated for extended periods while reviewing documents, meeting with customers, and completing transactions.
  • Ability to use a computer, phone, and other office equipment throughout the workday.
  • Ability to review detailed financial documents and enter information accurately with or without reasonable accommodation.
  • Ability to move between office, showroom, and dealership departments as needed to support customers and the sales team.
