Salary Range: $22.00 To $25.00 Hourly

Essential Duties and Responsibilities
  • Understand Total Fire Protection’s strategy, business, and growth initiatives
  • Professionally answer telephones and direct callers to the appropriate staff
  • Transfer a caller to a staff member’s voice mailbox when the associate is unavailable
  • Provide callers with information such as company address, location, fax numbers, website, and other related information
  • Take and retrieve messages for various personnel
  • Greet guests in a professional, friendly, hospitable manner
  • Receive, sort, and forward incoming mail
  • Sign for and sort UPS and Fed Ex packages for distribution
  • Open and close reception area
  • Monitor email boxes and distribute emails accordingly
  • Provide general administrative and clerical support as requested
  • Assist users sending faxes and retrieve and properly disseminate incoming faxes
  • General office administration
  • Other responsibilities and tasks, as assigned
Requirements
  • Polished and professional appearance
  • Able to work assigned hours, arriving on time and remaining on the job through the shift. Shift can be 8am to 4pm or 10am to 6pm. Able to cover 8am to 6pm when necessary
  • Proven front office experience handling high incoming call volume
  • Pleasant and positive telephone manner
  • Represent Total Fire Protection professionally at all times
  • Discretion to maintain confidential information
  • Capability to function independently in a team environment with little supervision
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office including Outlook, Word, and Excel
  • Bilingual Spanish speaker a plus
