Live-In Nanny/House Manager (FT)

THIS IS A LIVE-IN POSITION
Live-In Details: Private bedroom and bathroom.
Location: Syosset, NY
Days: Mon-Friday with possible Saturdays. Must be flexible
Hours: 7:00 AM - 5:00 PM
Compensation: $2,000 to $2,200 per week, Paid via W2 (on the books)
Additional Benefits: 2 weeks paid vacation, 5 paid sick days, 5 major holidays.
Start Date: Immediately
A private family in Syosset, NY is seeking a full-time, live-in Nanny/House Manager to provide attentive childcare while overseeing daily household operations. The ideal candidate is organized, proactive, and comfortable balancing childcare with household management in a private home.
Main Work Duties Infant Care Duties- Full daily care of a 4-month-old baby.
- Bottle feeding and monitoring feeding schedules.
- Diaper changes and maintaining proper hygiene.
- Engaging in age‑appropriate play and developmental activities.
- Supporting developmental milestones.
- Maintaining nursery cleanliness and organization.
- Baby’s laundry and organization of clothing and supplies.
- Monitoring baby‑related inventory and restocking needs.
- House Management.
- Grocery shopping and household supply procurement.
- Managing vendors and service providers.
- Scheduling and coordinating household staff (if applicable).
- Running errands as needed.
- Maintaining organized systems throughout the home.
- Ensuring household standards remain consistently high.
- Light Housekeeping.
- Tidying common areas.
- Maintaining order in high‑use spaces.
- Supporting overall household cleanliness (not full‑charge housekeeping unless discussed).
- Cooking.
- Preparing simple, healthy family‑style meals.
- Light cooking (not chef‑level).
- Basic meal prep and kitchen upkeep.
- Strong background in infant care, specifically with newborns and babies under one year.
- Experience in private homes combining nanny and house management responsibilities.
- Understanding of infant developmental stages.
- Confident managing both childcare and household operations.

- Valid Driver’s license and clean driving record.
