Front Office Assistant

Overview

Our private dental office is seeking a Front Office Assistant to join our dedicated team of dental professionals. Our practice is recognized for offering the community a wide range of dental services utilizing state-of-the-art technology and a modern approach. The ideal candidate for this role possesses a keen eye for detail and thrives in a fast-paced environment.

** This position will be for our Syosset and Mineola locations! **

Compensation

• $27-$30 per hour based on experience

Schedule

• Full-time
• Monday through Friday
• 1-2 Saturdays per month

Responsibilities

• Ability to work with major PPO networks in addition to FFS patients, processing claims, preauthorizations, adjustments, and schedules
• Checking patients in and out, scheduling, recalls, billing, electronic insurance filing, and follow-up
• Answer phone calls and schedule appointments/manage changes in schedule to ensure smooth workflow
• Verify insurance coverage and assist with billing and payments
• Other duties as assigned

Qualifications

• 2+ years of hands-on dental front office experience is required
• Willing to travel to our sister office in Mineola, NY
