FS Education is a New York-based STEM education center serving students ages 6-18. We offer programs in Coding, Robotics, Artificial Intelligence, Mathematics, academic enrichment, and competition preparation.
We are seeking a responsible, organized, and people-oriented Education Center Manager to support the daily operations and continued growth of our Syosset location.
Position OverviewThe Education Center Manager oversees the day-to-day operation of the center, communicates with families, supports student enrollment and retention, and coordinates instructors and class schedules.
This is a hands-on role ideal for someone who enjoys working with students and parents and is comfortable balancing customer service, organization, and basic business operations.
Key Responsibilities- Manage daily center operations, class schedules, attendance, student records, and facility readiness
- Communicate with current and prospective families, provide program information, and assist with enrollment and renewals
- Coordinate instructors, teaching assistants, classroom assignments, and substitute coverage
- Support student events, workshops, summer programs, and robotics competitions as needed
- Help maintain a positive experience for students, parents, and staff
- Track basic center performance, including enrollment, retention, and attendance
- Collaborate with company leadership and the marketing team on center growth and local promotions
- Bilingual in English and Chinese(Must)
- Strong communication, organization, and customer service skills
- Comfortable working with parents, students, and instructors
- Responsible, detail-oriented, and able to manage multiple priorities
- Experience in education, tutoring, after-school programs, customer service, sales, or operations is preferred
- STEM or education background is a plus
This is a full-time, in-person position based at the FS Education Syosset location.
Regular hours:
- Wednesday through Friday: 12:00 PM-6:00 PM
- Saturday and Sunday: 10:30 AM-6:30 PM
Weekend availability is required. Occasional additional hours may be needed during summer programs, special events, or competition season.
Work AuthorizationCandidates must be legally authorized to work in the United States.
Visa sponsorship, including OPT and H-1B sponsorship, may be available for qualified candidates. Employment-based green card sponsorship may also be considered based on performance, business needs, and long-term fit.
