Responsibilities
Budget management, month-end reporting, pricing, and promotional guidance. Conduct analyses to support sales, payroll, plant metrics, and governance reporting. This customer‑facing role requires establishing positive working relationships, understanding customer needs, and delivering key results.
- Utilize data analysis tools and techniques to assess plant performance, identify areas for improvement, and optimize efficiency strategies.
- Perform financial modeling by analyzing large data sets and deliver business insights and recommendations for leadership.
- Prepare, analyze, and present accurate and timely financial reports, including income statements, balance sheets, cash flow statements, and variance analysis.
- Budgeting and Forecasting:
Develop and maintain annual budgets and financial forecasts, collaborating with department heads to ensure alignment with business objectives. - Financial Analysis:
Conduct in‑depth financial analysis, including cost analysis, pricing strategies, and ROI assessments, to support decision‑making and improve profitability. - Recommend pricing changes based on ongoing data analysis and review key customer pricing changes with executive leadership team.
- Partner with the organization to provide costing/margin perspective for appropriate pricing decisions.
- Provide insights on achievement of plant key performance metrics with a strong focus on cost reduction and improved operating efficiencies.
- Provide analytical support on projects including capital appropriations, new product development, and plant utilization/capacity/asset management issues.
- Audit support and ad‑hoc as needed.
- Other duties as assigned.
- 5+ years of strong financial analysis, cost accounting, or general accounting experience in a manufacturing environment is a must.
- Bachelor's degree in finance or accounting.
- Master of Business Administration preferred.
- Critical customer‑facing role, must establish positive working relationships, understand customer needs and provide deliverables.
- Excellent organizational skills, ability to prioritize multiple priorities and strong attention to detail.
- Computer skills including MS Office programs such as Outlook, Word, Excel, PowerPoint.
- Experience in implementation of a new ERP system.
- Strong interpersonal skills and ability to communicate (verbal/written) effectively both internally and externally.
- Self‑motivated and strong analytical/problem‑solving skills.
- Ability to collaborate at all levels of the organization and across other functional areas.
- Critical thinking with the ability to recommend changes.
- Ability to maintain a high level of confidentiality.
- Must demonstrate the highest standards of personal and professional integrity and character and promote ethical business behavior throughout the organization.
