We are looking for a Medical Receptionist for our busy Endocrinology Medical Office.

Relevant experience is required; we will also train the right candidate for our office‑specific tasks.

Core Functions
  • Multi-tasking is a norm at our office.
  • Operate heavy phone system - schedule appointments, look up patient info and lab results…etc.
  • Collect copays and overdue balances directly from patients.
  • Conduct Prior Authorizations for drugs and other procedures – prior experience is a plus.
  • Verify patient insurance eligibility online and on the phone (if needed) – prior experience is a plus.
  • Proficiency in computers is a must – we utilize EHR, email and other computer-based programs to the fullest and if you are not very comfortable with computers, this job isn't for you.
  • Medical Assistant experience is a plus.
