Accounts Receivable Specialist

Description We have an immediate need for an accurate and proactive Accounts Receivable Specialist for a contract-to-permanent position in Syracuse, NY. Responsibilities:
Manage accounts receivable operations, including invoice processing, payment posting, and collections. Monitor aging reports and follow up on outstanding invoices to ensure prompt payment. Resolve billing discrepancies and communicate with clients regarding payment issues. Prepare and review regular reports on receivables status for management. Assist with account reconciliations and month-end closing activities. Maintain accurate financial records and ensure compliance with company policies.

Requirements Requirements:
Previous experience in accounts receivable, billing, or a related accounting role. Proficiency with accounting software (e.g., Quick Books, Microsoft Excel, SAP). Excellent communication and organizational skills. Strong attention to detail, problem-solving abilities, and follow-through. Ability to work both independently and collaboratively within a team. High school diploma or equivalent required; associate's or bachelor's degree in Accounting or Finance preferred.
