Accountant, Financial Reporting, Accounting Manager

Our client is seeking an Accountant to join their growing finance team. This position offers the opportunity to contribute across a variety of accounting functions while partnering with operational and business leaders to support organizational growth.

The ideal candidate will have a strong foundation in accounting principles, excellent attention to detail, and the ability to thrive in a fast-paced environment.

• Prepare and maintain accurate financial records and supporting documentation
• Assist with month-end and year-end close processes
• Reconcile general ledger accounts, bank accounts, and balance sheet accounts
• Prepare journal entries and account analyses
• Support financial reporting and management reporting activities
• Assist with budgeting, forecasting, and variance analysis
• Ensure compliance with accounting policies, procedures, and internal controls
• Support external audits and provide requested documentation
• Identify opportunities to improve accounting processes and efficiencies
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams on financial and operational initiatives

• Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field
• 2+ years of accounting experience preferred
• Strong understanding of GAAP and accounting best practices
• Experience with ERP systems and Microsoft Excel
• Excellent analytical, organizational, and problem-solving skills
• Strong communication skills and ability to work collaboratively
• CPA designation or progress toward certification is a plus
