Fund Manager - Private Equity - in office

Taurus Search is working with a fast paced start up working within PE. Our client is looking to hire a strong accounting professional, ideally with leadership experience, to join a newly created role as they continue to bring on major clients in private equity and private debt!

This role will be the primary point of contact for a portfolio of client accounts - handling the coordination between the clients and the internal teams on product delivery.

• Act as the primary point of contact for the assigned clients
• Develop an in-depth understanding of the assigned client s fund structures and SOPs.
• Assign workload and necessary deadlines for: capital calls, distributions, valuations, cash monitoring, management fees and reporting functions
• Review and finalize quarterly financial statements, investor letters, and other required assignments
• Assist with managing investor inquiries, fielding reporting questions, and other ad hoc requests
• Coach and mentor team members in all aspects of work
• When issues arise, create innovative solutions and manage follow up
• Act as an advisor to clients

• 5-7 years in fund accounting, public accounting, or fund administration
• Strong understanding of PE fund structures and operations
