Tax Intern

Bowers Accountants & Advisors is looking for highly motivated, collaborative, and results-oriented interns to join our tax team for the 2027 Tax Internship Season. The internship will span the spring season, February through April 15, and offers flexibility with respect to work hours.

• Be a part of our tax team and learn the business of tax.
• Plan and prepare tax services as assigned by tax staff.
• Collaborate with tax accountants for further support and learning tools.
• Become familiar with and effectively utilize software in assigned areas.
• Communicate concise and accurate project status updates.

• Approach daily responsibilities with Bowers’ mission and client‑centric philosophy in mind.
• Learn about tax processes and policies.
• Demonstrate professional nature and communication skills.
• Develop the ability to identify, understand, and address accounting issues.
• Actively participate in firm outings and activities as able.

• Active enrollment and major in accounting or finance.
• Interest in pursuing a career in public accounting.
• Preferably pursuing the 120‑150 credit‑hour academic requirement toward CPA eligibility.
• Strong organizational, problem‑solving, and analytical skills.
• Proficiency with Microsoft Office Suite.
