Chris Preble is working with a Syracuse client of his in the construction industry that is rapidly growing. This organization has an outstanding reputation in the market and is seeking a Senior Accountant to join their team. The ideal candidate will have accounting experience within the construction industry; however, candidates coming from manufacturing environments will also be strongly considered.

Responsibilities:

• Assist with month-end and year-end close processes
• Prepare and review journal entries, account reconciliations, and financial statements
• Analyze financial results and support management reporting
• Maintain and improve internal controls and accounting processes
• Support budgeting, forecasting, and project/job cost analysis
• Partner with operations and project management teams on financial matters
• Assist with audit preparation and external reporting requirements
• Ensure compliance with accounting policies and procedures
