Location: City of Syracuse

Sutton Real Estate Company is a local property management company, with over 25 apartment communities to choose from in the Greater Syracuse area, Sutton has an apartment that fits everyone’s location, style, and budget requirements. Presently, we are seeking a professional and organized Receptionist to join our Corporate based team. The ideal candidate will have strong computer skills, excellent communication abilities, and experience managing a multi-line phone system.

This position plays a key role in supporting daily office operations and assisting the accounting department with accounts payable (AP) tasks.

Key Responsibilities
  • Greet and assist visitors in a professional and courteous manner
  • Answer and manage a multi-line phone system, directing calls appropriately
  • Maintain a polished and welcoming front office environment
  • Assist the accounting department with accounts payable (AP) tasks
  • Organize and maintain records to ensure accuracy and efficiency
  • Handle incoming and outgoing mail and deliveries (including Fed Ex)
  • Support office staff with additional administrative tasks as needed
Qualifications
  • Strong computer skills, including proficiency in Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, Outlook), Canva, updating our website, Mailchimp
  • Experience with busy multi-line phone system
  • Demonstrates strong reliability and accountability in daily responsibilities
  • Must be a reliable team member
  • Highly organized with strong attention to detail
  • Professional appearance and demeanor
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills
  • Ability to multitask and prioritize in a fast-paced environment
  • Previous administrative or receptionist experience required
  • Basic knowledge of accounts payable (AP) processes is a plus

  • Office setting with regular interaction with staff, tenants, and visitors
