Location: City of Syracuse

Adecco is recruiting for a Part-Time Accounts Payable Administrative Assistant for a client in Syracuse, NY . This position is temporary for approximately 4–6 months, paying $20/hour.

Our manufacturing client is seeking a reliable and detail-oriented individual to support their accounting team with accounts payable administrative tasks. This is a part-time opportunity with flexible scheduling.

Schedule
  • Approximately 20 hours per week
  • Flexible schedule between 7:00 AM – 5:00 PM, Monday–Friday
Responsibilities
  • Match and attach paper purchase orders to packing slips and other supporting documents
  • Review paperwork for errors, discrepancies, or missing information
  • Reference documentation while entering and reviewing invoices in the accounts payable system
  • Approve or reject invoices for payment based on documentation accuracy
  • Maintain organized records and ensure paperwork is properly filed and logged
  • Assist the accounting team with general administrative tasks as needed
Qualifications
  • Strong attention to detail and accuracy
  • Basic computer skills and ability to navigate systems and search for information
  • Comfortable working with both paper documentation and computer systems
  • Previous administrative, accounting, or office support experience is helpful but not required
  • Ability to stay organized and manage routine tasks independently

Pay Details: $20.00 per hour
