COMFORT WINDOWS & DOORS is seeking a highly organized and detail-oriented Order Entry Specialist to join our team. This position plays a critical role in ensuring customer orders are accurately interpreted and entered for manufacturing and vendor fulfillment. Responsibilities:Receive and review customer orders from service representatives
Interpret notes, measurements, photos, and supporting documentation
Enter order information accurately into the job ordering system
Submit orders to manufacturers and vendors for production
Verify order details and ensure product specifications are correct
Prioritize multiple orders and meet deadlines
Communicate effectively with internal teams and vendors regarding order requirements
Maintain accurate records and documentation throughout the ordering process
Qualifications:Strong computer and data entry skills
Excellent attention to detail and accuracy
Ability to interpret complex paperwork and technical information
Strong organizational and multitasking abilities
Effective written and verbal communication skills
Self-motivated with the ability to work independently and as part of a team
Ability to interact professionally with employees, customers, and vendors
Previous experience with a home improvement, construction, or remodeling company is highly preferred
