Job Summary
Performs secretarial and administrative duties under general supervision, utilizing knowledge of medical terminology and hospital, clinic or laboratory procedures. Compiles and records medical charts, reports, and correspondence and maintains files. Takes and transcribes notes and dictation. May answer telephone, screen, and direct calls, schedule appointments and greet visitors. May do accounting and billing work.
Minimum QualificationsHigh school or equivalent and two years of directly related medical secretary/office experience. Will consider equivalent combination of education and experience.
Preferred QualificationsEMR and Orthopedic office experience preferred.
Work DaysMonday - Friday 8:30 am - 5:00 pm
