Central Supply Clerk

Seeking an experienced Schedular/Central Supply Clerk in Minoa, NY

• Shift Management: Build, publish, and adjust master schedules for nurses and aides to meet patient needs.

• Real-Time Problem Solving: Handle last-minute call-outs, find replacement staff, and coordinate per-diem or agency coverage.

• Compliance & Tracking: Monitor staff attendance, track vacation/PTO requests, and ensure adherence to labor laws or union contracts.

• Budget Oversight: Control expensive overtime hours and manage budget targets set by nursing leadership.

• Stocking nursing stations with the appropriate nursing supplies

• Taking inventory inside the stock room, both nurses stations, and office

• Placing nursing supplies orders for the whole facility

• Unpacking all nursing orders that are placed

• Stocking Central Supply office with proper supplies to fulfill the facility's needs

• Keeping the Central Supply office as organized and neat as possible

• Assisting with room changes

• managing facility supply storage areas

• Other duties as assigned

• Education: High school diploma or GED equivalent; some positions prefer an associate degree.

• Experience: Prior administrative, HR, or scheduling experience within a healthcare or long-term care setting.

• Technical Skills: Proficiency with computers and specialized scheduling software (OnShift).

• Soft Skills: Strong communication, active multitasking, patience, and high resilience to stress

• Must be organized

• Self-starter

• Holiday/Weekends if the need arises.

• Solid organizational, communication, and follow up skills.

• Should be friendly and a team player.

• Must be physically able to lift 50 lbs.
