Position Summary

The Coordinator for Manresa Programs will provide the support needed to serve the students participating in the seminar programs, manage logistics of guest speakers visiting campus, maintain budget controls, assist faculty and staff participating in grant-supported programs, and provide administrative support to the program co-directors. The coordinator will work closely with program co-directors to help Manresa reach its goal of focusing and magnifying the preparation of students for purposeful lives of meaningful success promoted by Le Moyne's Jesuit, liberal arts education.

The coordinator will serve as the liaison to the Finance department to ensure compliance with existing and future policies and procedures.

Principal Duties and Essential Functions Job duties specific to this position:
  • Manresa Seminars (50%)

    • Provide administrative support for the Manresa seminars offered each semester. Tasks include, but are not limited to:
    • Provide direct support to mentors (faculty and staff) through meeting coordination and general problem-solving
    • Maintaining and updating seminar and materials
    • Producing the group materials needed for each seminar
    • Coordinating Facilities and Catering for each seminar
    • Coordinate service opportunities with community partners
    • Monitoring and tracking student progress throughout the semester
    • Maintaining and updating the database of student participant data
    • Coordinate program promotion through print and digital media
    • Attend weekly meetings with professional staff
    • Ensure compliance with College & departmental policies regarding computer usage and personal information
    • Compiling assessment data for later analysis
    • Process invoices and facilitate payments with Accounts Payable
    • Monitor expenses and provide budget updates to the co-directors
    • Assist in preparation of yearly budget reports for grant funders (as applicable)
    • Steward stipends to students and mentors through the payment process
  • Other Manresa Programming (40%)

    • Provide administrative support for Manresa programs outside of the seminar series. These programs could change yearly but planned programs include Purposeful Advising (grant program), Regional Conference, Vocational Companions, Manresa Reading Group, visiting speakers and scholars, and Career Treks. Tasks include, but are not limited to:
    • Producing the group materials needed for each program
    • Scheduling and room reservations for faculty development seminars, workshops, and retreats
    • Coordinating catering for seminars and workshops
