Job Summary:
** The Service Technician Level B is responsible for performing maintenance, diagnostics, and repairs on a variety of vehicles according to Georgica Auto Holdings' standards and manufacturer specifications, ensuring high-quality service and customer satisfaction.
Compensation**$26.00-$35.00 hourly
Paid Training $5000.00 sign on bonus paid after 90 days of employment
Job Responsibilities:
*** Perform routine maintenance tasks including oil changes, tire rotations, fluid checks, and filter replacements.
* Conduct thorough vehicle inspections to identify potential issues and recommend necessary repairs.
* Diagnose and repair mechanical, electrical, and electronic vehicle systems using appropriate tools and diagnostic equipment.
* Complete basic to intermediate level repairs on engines, transmissions, brakes, steering, suspension, and other vehicle components.
* Document all services performed, parts used, and hours worked accurately and completely.
* Communicate effectively with service advisors and customers regarding vehicle status, repair recommendations, and estimated costs.
* Adhere to all safety guidelines and procedures in the workshop.
* Maintain a clean and organized work environment.
* Participate in ongoing training and professional development to stay current with automotive technologies.
Job Qualifications:
*** High School Diploma or equivalent required.
* ASE certification(s) preferred (e.g., A4 Suspension & Steering, A5 Brakes).
* Minimum of 2-4 years of experience as an automotive technician, preferably in a dealership or independent shop setting.
* Proven ability to diagnose and repair a wide range of automotive issues.
* Proficiency with diagnostic tools and equipment.
* Strong mechanical aptitude and problem-solving skills.
* Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
* Valid driver's license with a clean driving record.
* Ability to lift heavy objects and perform physical tasks associated with vehicle repair.
