Automotive Express Technician

Job Summary

Responsible for performing basic vehicle maintenance and repair services efficiently and accurately, ensuring high-quality workmanship and customer satisfaction.

$16.00 - $18.00 hourly

• Perform routine vehicle maintenance tasks, including oil changes, tire rotations, filter replacements, and fluid checks.
• Conduct multi-point inspections to identify potential issues and recommend necessary repairs or maintenance.
• Execute basic diagnostic checks using provided tools and equipment.
• Complete work orders accurately and efficiently, documenting all services performed and parts used.
• Communicate effectively with service advisors regarding vehicle status and recommended services.
• Maintain a clean and organized work area, adhering to all safety protocols and company policies.
• Participate in ongoing training and development to stay updated on new automotive technologies and repair procedures.
• Assist other technicians with tasks as needed.

• High school diploma or equivalent; completion of an automotive technician training program preferred.
• 1-2 years of experience in automotive service or a related field.
• Valid driver's license and a clean driving record.
• Ability to operate diagnostic equipment and hand tools effectively.
• Strong mechanical aptitude and problem-solving skills.
• Excellent attention to detail and commitment to quality workmanship.
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team in a fast-paced environment.
• Physical ability to lift heavy objects, stand for extended periods, and work in various weather conditions.
• ASE certifications are a plus.
