Position Summary

As a member of the Global Partnerships team, the Manager of National Partnerships primary responsibility will be to lead the management of the partnership upon execution of the contract and to work internally to integrate the national partner’s businesses (service or goods) across multiple Oak View Group divisions including New Development, OVG Hospitality, Venue Management, Procurement, GOAL, and Media & Conferences and collaborate with OVG Canada and OVG International.

Responsibilities will include but not be limited to: cultivate and sell new OVG National Partnerships internally and externally, cross functional support across all the OVG divisions above, and implementation of marketing assets tied to National Partnerships. The Manager of National Partnerships will be immersed in all OVG property benefits and business lines.

This role pays an annual salary of $80,000-$85,000 and is bonus eligible.

Responsibilities
  • Lead partnership, contract management, and relationship development for existing and new OVG National accounts
  • Responsible for hitting partner KPIs including business introductions and direct business integration(s) across the entire OVG portfolio
  • Seamlessly and effectively communicate with various internal stakeholders including, C-level OVG leaders on brand and product integration, scope of work, and OVG commitments
  • Lead internal calls with key stakeholders including the OVG monthly Ops call to introduce partners, share capabilities and create internal awareness of partnerships. Strengthen relationships with OVG General Managers
  • Ensure partnership marketing assets are delivered
  • Work with OVG Communications team to deliver any social or press release obligations
  • Collaborate and work with GOAL and Media & Conferences to ensure contractual obligations are met
  • Manage affiliate/integrated partner opportunities across OVG New Development projects—leverage OVG spend, create competitive pricing and build revenue generating opportunities
  • Support Director, National Sales in the new business sales process from start to finish
  • Identify and prospect new categories for OVG National Sales and secure new business targets annually
  • Continually assess the industry landscape, market demands, innovation, and OVG pipeline
  • Develop strong, long-term relationships with clients and co-workers
  • Maintain a high level of knowledge of all OVG properties, initiatives and be able to successfully identify and activate cross-selling opportunities

Education And/or Experience
  • Bachelor’s degree required
  • 3-5 years of professional sponsorship experience in a high-performance sale environment
  • Sports, Entertainment and/or Venue Industry experience preferred
  • Experience in contract management and partnership management preferred
  • Experience with procurement and business-to-business partnerships preferred
Knowledge/Skills/Abilities
  • Self-motivated with the ability to multi-task in a fast-paced environment.
  • Must be dynamic, forward-thinking, extremely analytical, and well organized.
