About The Role

Behind many of life’s most important transactions — buying a house, applying for a mortgage, getting a small business loan, or refinancing a credit card — is a network of credit relationships. Setpoint provides critical operational infrastructure for relationships between the world’s largest banks, credit funds and capital markets counter parties. We’re building trust in this system of credit.

We are looking for a Senior Product Manager to join our team! As a Senior Product Manager, you will drive improving meaningful parts of this platform. These are hard problems. They sit at the intersection of complex financial structures, real operational workflows, and new technology (AI). This is a great opportunity to define how lenders and borrowers interact with complex financial workflows.

• Own product areas end-to-end, from discovery through launch and iteration
• Define and prioritize roadmaps supported by customer research and business needs
• Partner with cross-functional team to ship high-quality features on a fast cadence
• Work directly with customers, including portfolio managers, compliance officers, and ops teams, to understand workflows and pain points
• Synthesize complex financial and technical requirements into clear requirements and testable prototypes
• Drive alignment across stakeholders across the organization
• Raise the bar on PM craft and domain knowledge across the team

• 3-6+ years of product management experience at a startup or high-growth fintech
• Strong intuition for customer problems and a bias toward talking directly to users
• A track record of working closely with engineers
• Experience in asset-backed lending, structured finance, or banking
• Fluency with AI tools as part of your daily workflow, not as a novelty
• Ability to write clearly and think precisely about product requirements and tradeoffs
• Low ego, high output, and a genuine desire to learn the domain deeply

Setpoint provides purpose-built capital and technology to asset-backed borrowers and lenders. Our platform is the funding operating system for originators: it verifies and stores documents; automates critical calculations and compliance reporting; and digitizes assets like homes or cars. Setpoint’s technology makes warehouse transactions instant and error free.

In August 2024, Setpoint announced the successful completion of its $31 million Series B funding round. 645 Ventures led the round, with significant strategic investments from Citi and Wells Fargo, alongside Andreessen Horowitz, Next View Ventures, Floating Point, Henry Kravis, Zillow founder’s 75 & Sunny, Vesta Ventures, Fifth Wall, Eltura Ventures, and Outrunner Capital.

We have offices in Austin, TX, New York City, NY, and Salt Lake City, UT with hybrid roles based in these locations and an expectation of two days a week in office (Tuesdays and Thursdays).

Compensation: $140,000 - $160,000 OTE dependent on multiple factors, which may include the successful candidate's skills, experience and other qualifications.
