Capture Manager

Saab is seeking a Capture Manager to lead strategic pursuits in the manufacturing-focused defense and security market. You will own the capture lifecycle-from opportunity identification and customer shaping to proposal leadership-for complex air, land, naval, and cyber programs. Partner with engineering, finance, and legal to define winning strategies, competitive pricing, and compelling value propositions. This role blends business development, program strategy, and stakeholder management in a mission-driven, high-tech environment with strong global collaboration and learning opportunities.

Responsibilities

• Lead capture strategy for complex defense and manufacturing opportunities in US markets
• Analyze customer needs, competitive landscape, and win themes to shape proposals
• Coordinate cross-functional capture teams across engineering, finance, legal, and operations
• Develop and manage capture plans, schedules, gates, and bid/no-bid recommendations
• Drive customer engagement, shaping requirements and positioning Saab solutions
• Support pricing strategy, risk assessments, and business case development
• Oversee proposal content quality, compliance, and storytelling for major pursuits
• Track opportunity pipeline, metrics, and lessons learned to improve win rates
• Collaborate with global Saab teams on technology offerings and value propositions
• Ensure capture activities align with Saab's mission, ethics, and security requirements
