Full Time Inclusion Preschool

6:45am start 12 months position

Little Lukes Preschool and Childcare Center is the leader in early childhood education and preschool education in Onondaga and Oswego counties. We are growing!

Currently accepting applications for a full time Assistant Director. Leader must have early childhood and supervisory experience to lead our dynamic team of early childhood and therapy professionals. Preference for experience with preschool children with special needs, special education, speech therapy, PT and OT.

• Responsible for all program operations and ensure that they support the philosophy of the organization
• Recruit, orient, supervise, train, and develop the team. Ensure a positive team atmosphere.
• Develop and regularly monitor systems to ensure all quality assurance practices; regulatory agency requirements; timely and comprehensive child and family intake; meeting concerns and needs of participating families.

The skills the candidate must possess for success in this position are excellent written and oral communication skills, customer-focused attitude, ability to multitask and have a proven track record managing a childcare center or preschool, knowledge of Microsoft Office and basic computer skills, successful background implementing organizational policies and procedures in a facility, and demonstrate success in a leadership role in the implementation of quality initiatives.

The ideal candidate also has knowledge of preschool and childcare licensing regulations.
