Project Manager - H&H Task Order
Gilbane is seeking a Project Manager II to serve as the on-site Gilbane manager, responsible for the overall direction, completion, and financial outcome of a medium-sized construction project.

ResponsibilitiesPre-construction
- Schedule, organize and coordinate meetings - including meeting minutes
- Budget - review and evaluate the client overall project budget (estimating skills)
- Track Budget if requested
- Track document filings - Designers and contractors
- Constructability reviews
- Scope development
- Bid document development
- Bid review and recommendations as to most capable and qualified proposal
- Permit tracking
Construction
- Assist the client in development of a master Progress Schedule
- Review and coordinate Vendor's progress schedule
- 2 week look ahead schedule development and monitoring
- Evaluate Vendor's personnel and equipment commitments
- Assist client in minimizing delays and change orders
- Evaluate means and methods of construction proposed and utilized by the vendors
- Coordinate temporary facilities and utilities
- Submittal review
- Construction monitoring for safety, quality and schedule adherence
- Coordinate inspections - DOB, Special Inspectors, Design Consultants
- Material inspections - conformance to contract documents
- RFI Administration
- Develop Change Order Report - validity of submission, cost estimate
EXPERIENCE/EDUCATION
- Bachelor's or Master's degree in Engineering or Construction Management
- 5-10 years of experience
- Or equivalent combination of education and experience
KNOWLEDGE, SKILLS & ABILITIES
- Strong technical and communication skills are critical
- Ability to work in a team environment
- Knowledge of industry standard software, Microsoft Office (preferred)
