Job Details

We are seeking a Superintendent to lead day-to-day field operations for commercial construction projects, overseeing site safety, subcontractor coordination, scheduling, quality control, and overall project execution.

Job Description
  • Oversee daily field operations and manage all on-site construction activities from mobilization through closeout
  • Coordinate subcontractors, vendors, suppliers, and field personnel to maintain project schedule and quality standards
  • Review plans, specifications, shop drawings, and project documents to ensure work is built according to contract requirements
  • Manage site safety, conduct regular safety meetings, and enforce OSHA and company safety standards
  • Partner with Project Managers, Assistant Project Managers, and ownership teams to communicate progress, challenges, and upcoming needs
  • Lead weekly subcontractor meetings and maintain clear communication with all project stakeholders
  • Monitor construction schedules, identify potential delays, and help develop solutions to keep projects moving forward
  • Oversee inspections, punch lists, closeout activities, and turnover documentation
  • Maintain accurate daily reports, site photos, manpower logs, and field documentation
  • Support cost control by tracking field issues, change impacts, material deliveries, and labor productivity
Qualifications
  • 5+ years of Superintendent experience with a commercial general contractor or design-build construction firm
  • Strong background managing commercial, industrial, manufacturing, healthcare, education, mixed-use, or adaptive reuse projects
  • Ability to read and interpret construction drawings, specifications, schedules, and project documents
  • Experience coordinating subcontractors, inspections, site logistics, safety programs, and project closeout
  • Strong knowledge of OSHA standards, construction sequencing, quality control, and field problem-solving
  • Comfortable working closely with Project Managers, architects, engineers, owners, and subcontractor teams
  • Experience with Procore, Bluebeam, Microsoft Project, P6, or similar construction management software preferred
  • Strong leadership, communication, organization, and documentation skills
  • Ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced field environment
