Your new role
:
As our new Construction Manager, you will be part of our Project Management Group and work on projects in the Albany, NY area.
- Assist in development of plans, schedules, and work alongside other superintendents, supervisors, and administrators on project‑related activities.
- Actively work with the Senior Construction Manager in the management of the overall project construction scope, schedule, and budget.
- Lead the on‑site project team on smaller scale projects.
- Manage subcontractor contracts in coordination with the Senior Construction Manager.
- Assist with the change order process, including proper notification and data gathering for Project Manager review.
- Participate actively in creating a safety culture in the office and at the jobsite.
- Serve as Project Site Safety Leader in the absence of a full‑time EHS Supervisor.
- Estimate cost of materials, labor, and equipment required to manage change during a project.
- Assist in planning the execution of the startup, commissioning, and closeout processes.
- Adhere to the policies and standards set forth in our quality management practices.
Associate degree plus 2+ years relevant experience; or Bachelor's degree in Engineering or Construction Management; or 5+ years of professional construction management experience with procurement support and multi‑discipline project management.
- Ability to read plans, drawings, and specifications.
- Experience with construction sequencing, scheduling, and safety planning.
- Local travel of up to 10%.
- OSHA 30‑hour Construction Safety Certification (preferred).
- OSHA 40‑hour Hazwoper Certification (preferred).
The anticipated base salary range for this position is $80,000 to $100,000 per year. The range reflects our expected compensation at the time of posting. Actual compensation may vary by location, skills, experience, education, and internal equity. Bonus, overtime, or other compensation may also apply. A comprehensive benefits package is available.
